INSTALLATION SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ("TERMS") CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASING OR SCHEDULING INSTALLATION SERVICES. BY PURCHASING THE INSTALLATION SERVICE ON THE ANKER SOLIX OFFICIAL WEBSITE, YOU ("CONSUMER" OR "YOU") AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS.
I. SCOPE OF SERVICE
A. Parties.
1. Service Performer – Licensed Electrician. The installation service is performed directly by the licensed electrical contractor or electrician identified in your order (the "Electrician"). You are entering into this contract directly with the Electrician, who is the sole party responsible for completing the installation work in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
2. Service Manager – Installation Partner, [Faith Pro Service, Inc.]. Service Manager acts as the principal contracted service provider and general manager of the Electricians (the "Sub‑contractors") for the purpose of delivering the Installation Services. The Service Manager is responsible for selecting, training, verifying licenses of, and supervising qualified Electricians, and for ensuring that all services performed by those Electricians meet the required quality, safety, and compliance standards. For all legal and operational purposes, the Service Manager shall be deemed the contracting entity responsible for the performance of its sub‑contracted Electricians, and bears joint and several liability with each Electrician for the proper, safe, and lawful execution of the Installation Services rendered to Consumers. The Service Manager shall remain fully accountable for the quality, timeliness, and warranty of the services provided, regardless of whether the work is performed directly by the Service Manager or by its appointed Electricians.
3. Collection Agent – Anker SOLIX Limited. Anker SOLIX Limited operates as the ecommerce platform facilitating your Service order and serves solely as a payment collection agent (on behalf of the Electrician and Service Manager) for the purpose of receiving consumer payments securely and transmitting them to the respective service providers.
B. Inclusions.
The service includes wiring applicable Anker SOLIX Products (which must be new, uninstalled, and inactive) to your existing electrical load center.
C. Exclusions.
The service does NOT include:
- Photovoltaic (PV) system wiring or third-party generator wiring;
- App/software related issues or troubleshooting;
- Troubleshooting or fixing existing electrical issues or code violations; or
- Civil work such as drywall repair, painting, or debris removal.
The appointed Electrician reserves the right to decline service or charge separately for any work deemed out-of-scope.
II. INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS & LIMITATIONS
A. Eligibility & Compliance.
1. Permitted Work. Your home's electrical system must comply with all applicable local codes. Homes with unpermitted modifications or illegal circuit alterations do not qualify for installation.
2. Distance & Voltage. If your property size requires excessive wiring distance that leads to voltage drop issues (non-compliant with NEC regulations), the installation may be declined.
3. Feasibility Assessment. The Electrician will assess your property upon arrival. If unforeseen circumstances prevent a safe or compliant installation, the Service Manager and Electrician reserve the right to cancel the service. In such cases, You may be responsible for a site survey fee if applicable.
4. Professional Standard of Service. Electrician shall perform all installation work in a professional, workmanlike manner, using qualified personnel and industry accepted methods. Installation work must commence and be completed within a reasonable period as agreed between you and the Service Manager after scheduling.
5. After-Sale Warranty. Electrician shall provide a limited workmanship warranty for the installation in accordance with its standard service terms.
III. FEES AND ADDITIONAL COSTS
A. Standard Fee.
The installation fee paid on www.ankersolix.com covers basic installation only.
B. Potential Extra Charges.
You may incur additional charges for items not included in the standard fee. These costs must be agreed upon directly between You and the Electrician and paid directly to the Electrician. Common examples include:
- Materials: Extra breakers, conduits, wiring, or sub-panels needed due to long distances or system incompatibility.
- Complex Setups: Non-standard configurations (e.g., flush-mount panels, outdoor disconnect switches, or hidden wiring) requiring extra labor.
- Permits: Government permit application fees or required code-compliance devices (e.g., surge protectors).
C. Non-Refundable Policy.
Once installation work begins, the installation fee is non-refundable. If You return the Product after installation, You are responsible for all removal costs.
IV. DISCLAIMERS AND LIABILITIES
A. Anker SOLIX's Role.
You acknowledge that Anker SOLIX is not an electrical contractor and does not supervise, perform, or guarantee the installation work. Anker SOLIX disclaims all liability for the pricing, workmanship, safety, or delays associated with the services provided by the Electrician. All installation obligations rest exclusively with the Electrician and Service Manager.
B. Property Alterations.
Standard installation may require drilling holes, cutting drywall, or surface mounting conduits. While Electricians will communicate this beforehand, restoring these alterations (e.g., patching, painting, landscaping restoration) is Your responsibility.
C. Damage & Debris.
Neither the Electrician, Service Manager, nor Anker SOLIX shall be responsible for the disposal of installation debris or packaging waste. You are responsible for clearing the workspace.
D. Limitation of Liability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Electrician, Service Manager, nor Anker SOLIX Limited shall be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the service, except in cases of gross negligence or willful is conduct by the Electrician.
V. PAYMENT AND INVOICING
A. Payment Collection Disclosure.
The standard fee for installation shall be collected and processed by Anker SOLIX Limited as the authorized limited payment collection agent of the assigned Service Manager and Electrician. This structure exists to provide secure funds handling for Consumers and ensure that your payment is safely held until the installation is confirmed complete. By making payment through Anker SOLIX's official checkout system, you expressly acknowledge that Anker SOLIX is collecting the funds on behalf of the Electrician and Service Manager, and not as a service provider of installation work. This arrangement is publicly disclosed to comply with state financial regulations and to enhance payment safety for Consumers.
B. Payment Satisfaction and Consumer Release.
Payment made by You to Anker SOLIX Limited shall be deemed payment made directly to your assigned Service Manager and Electrician. Upon Anker SOLIX's actual receipt of funds from your authorized payment method, your monetary obligation for the standard fee for installation is fully satisfied and discharged, even if Anker SOLIX has yet to remit those funds to the Electrician, Electrician cannot require You to make any additional payment for any items or services already included in the standard installation fee paid through Anker SOLIX. However, this limitation does not apply to any extra materials, non‑standard labor, or out‑of‑scope work (as defined in Section III.B) that has been clearly itemized and standard quotation, confirmed and accepted by You in writing or electronically prior to the start of installation. In such cases, You shall pay the agreed additional amount directly to the Electrician as specified in the approved final quotation. If for any reason Anker SOLIX fails to forward the funds to the Electrician, the Electrician's sole recourse shall be against Anker SOLIX and not against you. This mechanism ensures that consumers' payment obligations are completed securely and without risk of duplicate collection.
C. Standard Payment Collection.
Anker SOLIX collects the standard installation fee on behalf of the assigned Service Manager and its Electricians. Payment to Anker SOLIX constitutes settlement of your debt to the Service Manager and its Electricians for the standard service fee. For the avoidance of doubt, any fees, charges, or costs arising from services outside the scope of the standard installation are excluded from this provision and are not covered by such payment or settlement.
D. Invoicing.
An invoice for your installation service will be issued to You by Electrician assigned to your order after completion of the service. Each invoice shall clearly state that the standard Installation Fee is being to You by Electrician. This invoice notation serves as proof that payment has been received on the Electrician's behalf and that your obligation, to that extent, is discharged. Your bank or credit card statement may reflect Anker SOLIX Limited as the merchant of record, which corresponds to this invoice disclosure.
E. Refunds.
Any applicable refunds for installation fees will be processed solely through Anker SOLIX's payment system via the original payment method. Refund eligibility and timing follow the policies listed on www.ankersolix.com.
VI. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY
A. Consent.
By ordering this service, You consent to Anker SOLIX sharing your necessary personal information (including Name, Address, Phone Number, and Order Details) with the assigned Service Manager and Electrician solely for the purpose of scheduling and performing the service.
B. Compliance.
Anker SOLIX and Service Manager will process personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
C. Caution.
Please do not provide sensitive personal information (e.g., social security numbers, credit card details) directly to the Electrician unless explicitly instructed by the Service Manager's official channels.
VII. GENERAL
A. Interpretation.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Electrician regarding the installation services.
B. Amendments.
These Terms are subject to change without prior notice. The version available on the Anker SOLIX Official Website at the time of purchase shall apply.
