Power for Now. Backup for Life

Growing up in a family of volunteer firefighters and linemen, I learned early that the grid isn't forever. After facing the 10-day darkness of Hurricane Sandy with a screaming gas generator, I knew I needed a smarter solution. Here’s my journey from struggling with subpar solar gear to finding the Anker SOLIX E10—the system that finally secured my New Jersey home and my retirement in Florida.

Two weeks in with my Anker SOLIX E10 and it already proved why this was one of the best investments I've made. We had a power outage and while the neighborhood went dark, my essential medical equipment, wheelchair chargers internet, and devices kept running without missing a beat.

Within 8 hours of setup, a storm took out our grid. While the streetlights died and Generacs roared across the street, our home stayed silent and fully powered. We finished making dinner without a hitch, then invited neighbors over to watch a movie.

Living on the East Coast means frequent outages and spoiled groceries. Upgrading from the C1000 to the E10 changed everything. Now, we have whole-home backup ready for at least 24 hours. With solar charging, we’re prepared for extended blackouts. Finally, we can face hurricane season with total confidence.

After installing the HPP and F3800s as a backup solution, fate tested me immediately. Ten minutes before my first remote workday, the grid failed. Thanks to the seamless switch, my network and systems stayed live. I started my new career without a hitch.

My clean energy journey began in August 2024 after a multi-day power outage left my family without electricity for medical equipment and spoiled hundreds of dollars of frozen food. I started with an F3800, got us through several outages through winter and into early 2025.

I needed a real solution. Not a temporary fix. Not a gas generator that might fail or run out at the worst time. I wanted something dependable, scalable… something that could actually protect my family. That’s when I found Anker SOLIX. This isn’t just a backup system anymore—it’s how we live.

I can't be happier for this product and for Anker's engineering. I am envied by neighbors I have shared pictures with. I will be coupling this with a natural gas standby generator to recharge once the Anker system is fully installed. Thanks again Anker!

While neighbors scrambled with noisy gas generators, our home stood as the only beacon of full power. Thanks to the E10's lightning-fast UPS, our movie never paused, the AC kept blowing cold, and the air fryer kept cooking. Experience the peace of mind that lets you sleep like a baby while the world goes dark.
