Smart Auto-Correction for CT Wiring Errors
Smart Meter Gen 2 (Single-Phase) can automatically identify and correct the following wiring errors during installation:
1. CT clamp mismatched to L1 / L2 / L3 phase conductors.
2. CT polarity reversed.

Note: Auto-correction for CT polarity reversal and phase mismatch is coming soon.

Yes. Anker SOLIX Smart Meter Gen 2 features a dual‑measurement‑point design, supporting both new PV‑plus‑storage installations and retrofits of existing PV systems.

CT (GRID) monitors the household main circuit, while CT (PV / ESS) monitors the existing rooftop PV circuit. This allows a single meter to manage both newly installed energy storage systems and existing PV systems within a single energy management platform.

Note: The three-phase smart meter includes a triple CT cable assembly. To monitor an existing PV system, an additional CT cable set must be purchased separately from the official website.

Yes. It supports Modbus TCP and TCP/IP transparent transmission protocols, allowing it to communicate directly with Home Assistant over a local network without cloud relay for real-time power monitoring and automation.

The voltage sensing port RS485 ports on Anker SOLIX Smart Meter Gen 2 feature tool-free

SNAP IN terminals, allowing wires to be automatically secured upon insertion. It supports crimped ferrules, single-core solid wires, and multi-core stranded wires. The recommended stripping length is 9mm, and the supported wire cross-section is is - 2.5 mm

The CT rating for the grid measurement point must match the rating of the main circuit breaker. If the circuit breaker is rated at 63A or below, the included 63A CT is sufficient. If the incoming grid current exceeds 63A, you can use the complimentary 120A CT, which is shipped separately.

Anker SOLIX Smart Meter Gen 2 features a dual-CT measurement design. CT (GRID) measures the household main circuit. CT (PV/ESS) can be configured to measure the existing rooftop PV circuit for new solar-plus-storage installations or for adding storage to an existing PV system, or to monitor the loop current of an Anker SOLIX storage system to ensure safe operation of the home circuit.
